Alpha Basement Finishing provides solutions for the usual ceiling issues encountered in high humidity spaces with our OutLast Ceiling panels and MoldTough seamless ceiling products. The OutLast ceiling panels are made of compressed mineral fiber instead of compressed paper and is much denser, more durable, and does not absorb moisture like like compressed paper tiles. For those who desire the look of a drywall ceiling we use our MoldTough seamless ceiling system. This system is made of a special gypsum based panel surface sealed with a coating making it less likely to be impacted by moisture, mold, or mildew and has achieved the industry's highest rating for prevention of mold growth.

Alpha Basement Finishing provides other ceiling finish options and ideas. For areas of low clearance we may suggest spray painting the joists, plywood, electrical and mechanical systems with a dark colored paint. For a non-traditional look or for basements with a rustic, antique, or retro theme, you may decide to utilize a metal ceiling system.
